Jacket & Pants
Our best selling defense against the cold, this set, and its ergonomic design keeps you comfortably warm while allowing freedom of movement.
This set is designed for times when it is necessary to sit or stand for long periods, built for warmth not for endurance walking. The advantage of the set is that you can use each piece separately and thus get the most from your investment.

The Jacket
Comfortable Raglan style sleeves give you more freedom of movement. The outer side pockets are large and well anchored. There is also a pocket inside the jacket with a Zipper closure for extra security. The high front collar can be closed with a large wind resistant flap. Your neck and throat are completely protected from drafts and cold when using this type of design. A two-way zipper allows comfort when sitting and when nature calls. After many years of experimentation with different zippers we have found what we believe to be the best zipper for our product: This zipper is made of nylon so it will not freeze as fast as a metal one. The large teeth are very stable and this allows smooth operation and a long working life.

The Jacket is also available with the option of a wind resistant front flap button system developed by Harald Dittrich. This system will not freeze, as a zipper can, is noiseless and easy to handle even with cold hands. Both systems are the best we can provide. The choice is offered for those of you who may have a preference. 

The Pants
The pants are designed to be put on and removed with great ease and speed over your normal cloths even while wearing large winter boots. This is accomplished through using a longer zipper (length: 35 inches) that extends up to the mid thigh. The zipper is also placed to the side of the leg seam. This innovation allows a longer zipper life. The full length of the zipper is covered from both sides by leather flaps secured by Velcro. This stops wind and cold from reaching your legs through the zipper. The fur on the inside of the zipper extends to touch in the middle over the zipper. The cold never reaches your leg.
The pants are made with a raised area in the rear that provides extra warmth to the area around the kidneys. The knee area is designed with a special cut that allows you to bend and sit without compressing the fur inside the leg. This feature allows the pants to maintain an insulated space in front of the knee. Those of you who have used other types of pants in cold weather know how cold your knees can get. There is a knife pocket on the right leg in front of the leg side seam. Last but not least there are two large front pockets for all of the extra things we seem to accumulate in the field. For out of the box use suspenders are included.
